filesystem Basica 1.7 has arrived!!
Are you 1.7??
This is a special request to all the users of filesystem Basica. On the filesystem Basica 1.7, type the command add-ons, and when the add-on manager opens up, check the "About" tab. Now, since we have started supporting add-ons, start building them in C/C++, VB, or Java. All three will be supported. Actually, if your add-on is an executable, we can - in most cases, attach it.

As you must have noticed, filesystem Basica had gone in for a big, big change. Expect grater changes in the near future.
We will very soon phase out the "cf" command, as it is not suitable for most users. You can create a file using the add-ons installed.
Did you know that you can attach Microsoft's Word as an add-on too??
If you didn't, yes you can!!
Add-Ons are something like "Program Files" when you see the Basica as an operating system point of view, regardless of the fact that it is not an operating system, and is just a terminal. The internal OS along with it's kernel are different parts. However, you can soon expect filesystem Basica G, the graphical version of filesystem Basica to be out. You can implement both of these on your distro, of course.
